After graduating from college, Laurie climbed the corporate ladder, ultimately becoming Regional Vice President of the East Coast for the national retail brand Coldwater Creek. She later led high‑performing teams at Pottery Barn and Petsmart before retiring from the retail industry. Across every role, Laurie was known for developing systems, establishing metrics, and creating the operational frameworks that supported business growth and strengthened brand identity.
When she married Patrick, Laurie brought her deep operations expertise into his financial planning practice. As the business expanded from the Midwest to the East Coast, she implemented best‑in‑class processes that ensure clients receive exceptional service—leveraging a modern tech stack, social media strategy, and thoughtful brand development. Her influence has been instrumental in shaping the firm’s identity, including the rebranding to Triple Crown Financial Services, inspired by her lifelong love of horses.
Outside of work, Laurie is happiest in the barn with her horses, finding relaxation in the rhythm of daily chores. When she’s not riding, she enjoys biking with Patrick, hiking through the Vermont woods, or unwinding at home with a cup of tea and one of her three dogs curled up beside her.
